
The sufficiently compacted concrete surface is milled or deep ground in 1 step, as needed, then ground scratch-free in 3-5 steps. The result is a homogeneous-looking stone frame with a terrazzo-like aesthetic appearance (not terrazzo), an even, smooth concrete surface with a matte effect. During the SOLID floor grinding process, the concrete surface is evenly ground or deep sanded as needed, thereby reaching the stone framework in the concrete over the entire surface. The surface uncovered in this way is ground in several steps with finer and finer tools, which reveals the uniform pebble structure in the concrete. After the top layer of the concrete surface is removed, this gravel structure is largely visible on the surface. After surface preparation, the floor surface is smooth, free of any roughness, has a matte or silky appearance, on which the pebbles are highly visible. It is easy to keep clean and much more resistant to dirt, truck wheel marks and other wear and tear. The finished floor contributes greatly to the aesthetic experience of the building. It makes the environment more comfortable. As a rule, a maximum layer of 1-3 mm thick is ground from the surface, depending on the quality of the concrete work. The floor is ground with a high-performance grinding machine and diamond tools using the grinding process tested by Epotrend Kft. grind it properly in 2-4 steps, depending on the quality of the surface.
The final surface appearance of the concrete will be a beautiful silky floor surface with a uniform pebble pattern. The SOLID process is mainly recommended for new or existing concrete floors, which may be damaged or made with poor surface or aesthetic quality. It is the ideal renovation system for old floors with good static resistance (sufficiently dense).
In Hungary, according to the National Fire Protection Regulations (OTSZ), the Epo-trend Clever Floor SOLID floor design is classified as "non-flammable".
Resistance tests on concrete slabs and floors proved that the Epo-trend Clever Floor SOLID floor design meets the requirements of the MSZ EN 61340-5-1 standard. Based on the protocols of laboratory tests prepared by GOD-MIN Mérnöki kft. and Epo-trend kft.
The obtained values also met the international IEC and American ANSI/ESD standard requirements. Step tests in ESD shoes showed no or very little static charge. Cleaning: A floor polished according to the Epo-trend Clever Floor SOLID process must be cleaned with a diamond pad placed on a scrubber-dryer and clean water with Epo-trend 3DW in case of heavy loads, so that the compactness and abrasion resistance of the concrete can be preserved. Dirt can also be removed in dry cleaning procedures, as the floor surface is protected from adhesion.

If a floor polished according to an Epo-trend Clever-Floor SOLID process becomes dull, its shine and cleanability can be restored with the Epo-trend diamond pad renewal basic cleaning.
Use this wording: "Concrete floor made according to the Epo-trend Clever Floor SOLID process". The surface can be polished according to the sanding regulations and recommendations developed by Epo-trend Kft. After sample polishing a floor quality and appearance can be presented and the best polishing sequence can be selected. When creating a new floor, it is possible to some extent to influence the surface appearance of the Epo-trend Clever-Floor SOLID floor, e.g. with aesthetic gravel sprinkling or concrete coloring, so a unique floor design is also possible.
For Epo-trend Clever Floor SOLID floor solutions, the use of traditional concrete reinforcement or plastic fiber reinforcement is recommended, the steel fiber has a small effect on the appearance of the final result.
