During the PLUS floor grinding and polishing process, the concrete surface is ground evenly in several steps with progressively finer tools, which reveals the concrete's gravel structure. After removing the weakest layer of the concrete surface, this gravel structure is not evenly visible on the surface, because the uppermost, thin layer of concrete is removed, it has a beautiful appearance with a natural stone effect. After the grinding process, the concrete surface is polished. After polishing, the floor surface is smooth from all roughness free and brilliantly shiny and elegantly reflective.
It is easy to keep clean and much more resistant to dirt, truck wheel marks and other wear and tear. The finished floor contributes greatly to the aesthetic experience of the building. It gives a sense of comfort and security. Extremely environmentally friendly.
As a rule, a maximum 0.2-2 mm thick layer is ground from the surface, at a varying depth depending on the straightness of the surface. Grinding and polishing the floor with a high-performance grinding machine and diamond tools tested by Epo-trend Kft. according to its procedure, it is polished in a series of 4-6 steps, depending on the quality of the surface. The final surface appearance of the concrete will be a brilliantly shiny floor surface, usually with a non-uniform pebble pattern. The PLUS process is a recommended solution mainly for new or existing concrete floors, which may be damaged or made with poor surface or aesthetic quality, as well as bark-reinforced floors. It is the ideal renovation system for old floors of good mechanical quality (sufficiently dense).
In Hungary, according to the National Fire Protection Regulations (OTSZ), the Epo-trend Clever-Floor PLUS floor design is classified as "non-flammable".

Cleaning: A floor polished according to the Epo-trend Clever Floor PLUS process must be cleaned with a diamond pad placed on a scrubber-dryer and clean water or, in the event of a heavy dirt load, with Epo-trend 3DW. Smaller, segmented surfaces can also be wiped dry.
