
Flat, sufficiently compacted concrete that does not require rough grinding. The surface is extremely resistant,
with small pebbles and an almost homogeneous surface.
Basic is the floor solution that is typically applied to bark-reinforced "Dry Shake" floor surfaces. It contains small scale
opening grinding, consists of surface-enhancing and polishing steps, so it does not make the stone frame visible, small
salt-pepper like effect pebbles may appear on the surface. Light grinding and polishing removes a small amount of
material from the surface, it does not affect the thickness of the floor. The polished floor surface is smooth, free of any
roughness, brilliantly shiny, and elegantly reflective. By using the same materials, the surface is resistant to wear and
everything is functional property is maximized.
It is easy to keep clean and much more resistant to dirt, truck wheel marks and other wear and tear. The finished floor contributes greatly to the aesthetic experience of the building. It makes the environment more comfortable. It provides comfort and a sense of security, and is extremely environmentally friendly.
It is important to know that the concrete surface must be evenly flat and properly executed. The polishing process will not eliminate or change the unevenness of the receiving surface - in terms of color and flatness. Polishing the floor with a high-performance grinding machine and Tyrolit diamond tools tested by Epo-trend Kft. according to its procedure, it is polished in 3-4 steps, depending on the quality of the surface. The final surface appearance of the concrete will be a brilliantly shiny floor surface with no visible gravel pattern. The BASIC procedure mainly as a floor solution for bark-reinforced surfaces, or for floors that have already been sanded and polished, but have a worn shine recommended renovation solution.
In Hungary, according to the National Fire Protection Regulations (OTSZ), the Epo-trend Clever Floor BASIC floor design is classified as "non-flammable".
Resistance tests on concrete slabs and floors have proven that the Epo-trend Clever Floor BASIC floor design meets the requirements of the MSZ EN 61340-5-1 standard. Based on the protocols of laboratory tests prepared by GOD-MIN Mérnöki kft. and Epo-trend kft.
The obtained values also met the international IEC and American ANSI/ESD standard requirements.
Step tests in ESD shoes showed no or very little static charge. The Epo trend Clever Floor BASIC never once exceeded the threshold values prescribed by the ESD standard; as in electronics nor the limit values of the standard used by the assembly industry. Based on our measurements, at the maximum limit of 100V in operating plants, it is recommended to use the full ESD system on the Epo-trend Clever-Floor PLUS floor as well.
Cleaning: A floor polished according to the Epo-trend Clever Floor BASIC process must be cleaned with a diamond pad placed on a scrubber-dryer and clean water or, in the event of a heavy dirt load, with Epo-trend 3DW. Smaller, segmented surfaces can also be wiped dry.

If the floor needs to be impregnated against liquids and stains, the Epo-trend Stain Protection system must be used.
If a floor polished according to an Epo-trend Clever Floor BASIC process becomes dull, its shine and cleanability can be restored with the Epo-trend diamond pad renewal basic cleaning.
Use this wording: "Concrete floor made according to the Epo-trend Clever Floor BASIC process".
The surface can be polished according to the grinding regulations and recommendations developed by Epo-trend
Kft. After sample polishing the floor quality and appearance can be presented and the best polishing sequence can
be selected.
In the case of new concreting, it is possible to some extent to modify the surface appearance of the Epo-trend
Clever Floor BASIC floor influence e.g. with concrete coloring, so a unique floor design is also possible.
For Epo-trend Clever Floor BASIC floor solutions, traditional concrete reinforcement or plastic fiber reinforcement is
used its use is recommended; steel wire should be avoided.
